What we collect

Only what you type into the waitlist form: your email address and, if you fill them in, your name and message.

To stop abuse of the form we keep a one-way hash of your network address (not the address itself) for about an hour. Like any web server, ours keeps short-lived access logs for troubleshooting.

What we don't do

• No cookies, no analytics, no advertising or tracking scripts.
• We never sell, rent or share your email.
• No newsletter. We email you once, when Item Chaos opens to new households.

Where it's kept

On our own server, with encrypted-in-transit connections (HTTPS). Signups are copied to our backup drive nightly. A notification of each signup is emailed to the Item Chaos inbox.

Removing your details

Email info@itemchaos.com from the address you signed up with and we'll delete it from the list. Old backups are deleted after 30 days.

The Item Chaos app

This page covers the website only. Each household's Item Chaos app runs on its own server, and its photos and item lists stay there.
